What we ask
- "What are the best [what you sell] options?"
- "Who would you recommend for [what you sell]?"
- "What do you know about [your brand]?"
Then we check whether you're named, who's named instead, and whether the model knows who you are.
Why this matters
When someone asks an assistant for "a good accountant near me", they usually get three to five names, not ten links. If you aren't one of them, you don't get a click; you don't exist for that customer.
How to read the score
70% of the score comes from being named in the two recommendation questions; 30% from the model knowing who you are when asked directly. It's a rough signal, deliberately simple.
What moves the needle
- Access. Check your robots.txt with the AI Crawler Checker.
- Identity. Publish an llms.txt and business schema.
- Mentions. Models trust what other sites say about you: reviews, local directories, press, "best of" lists.
