GeoLumen Chrome extension: privacy policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
The GeoLumen: AI Visibility Check extension does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data.
What it reads
It only reads anything after you click its toolbar icon, and only from the tab you clicked it on:
- the page's structured data (
<script type="application/ld+json">blocks anditemtypeattributes) - that website's
/robots.txtand/llms.txtfiles, fetched from the website itself without cookies
Where it goes
Nowhere. The results are worked out inside your browser, shown in the popup and discarded when it closes. The extension has no server, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no accounts and no stored history.
Links to geolumen.app
If you click “Get the full report” or one of the “free fix” links, a new tab opens on geolumen.app. The link includes the website's origin (for example https://example.com, never the page path or query) and UTM tags that show the visit came from the extension. What happens on geolumen.app is covered by the site's own privacy policy.
Optional access
If a site's robots.txt or llms.txt can't be read from inside the page (usually because of a redirect to another address), the extension can ask for permission to read files on that one website. You can decline, or remove it later in chrome://extensions.
